Winter 4x4 Jamboree 2017
Thursday, January 19 - Saturday, January 21, 2017
The event central venue is the Washington County Fairgrounds Complex. All trails are located within a 2 hours drive from the fairgrounds. The majority of the trails are within the Sand Mountain Special Recreation Management Area, located just to the south of the Sand Hollow State Park, within 5 miles of the fairgrounds. All trails are day trips, returning to the complex each day.
The 2017 Winter 4x4 Jamboree will be held January 19th, 20th and 21st, 2017. Registration for the event will be online at the Winter 4x4 Jamboree Website , and will open November 1st, 2016. Trails will be limited to group size to ensure participants have an enjoyable experience, with more technical trails limited to groups of 10 vehicles ranging to the 2 rated trails limited to 25 vehicles.
During the three days of the event, Sand Mountain SRMA trails will be closed to non-participants.
Participants must first register on the web site and provide information about their vehicle’s modifications to ensure they will be capable of reasonably running the trails they wish to sign up for. After registering on the website, they can go to event registration (after November 21st) and sign up for trails.
The Winter 4x4 Jamboree will feature several additional activities:
- Thursday Evening 4x4 Rodeo - A fun contest for any event participant that wants to test drivers and passengers in their abilities. Some of the planned activities are "4x4 Darts", "Spud Spearing", "Driving Blind", and "Balancing Act". For full details, just come to the Fairgrounds on Thursday Night and join the fun!
- Friday Night Vendor Fiesta - A vendor show held from 3 to 9 pm that will feature a no-host food court, live music, and vendor displays. Also, registered entrants will be given a card to be validated by each vendor, then placed in a drawing for prizes to be held at 8 pm.
