The Desert Roads And Trails Society would like to invite you to join us as a sponsor for the 5th annual Winter 4x4 Jamboree which will be held January 17-19, 2019. This event is organized by Desert Roads And Trails Society (Desert R.A.T.S.), an all-volunteer, non-profit 501 C 3 organization dedicated preserving our public lands for multiple use and access.
Our 2018 Winter 4x4 Jamboree, held in January, was our largest so far. Over 700 registered vehicles and well over 1,400 participants enjoyed the event. As a result of our success, we were able to donate $41,000 to land use groups , including Utah Public Lands Alliance, Utah 4 Wheel Drive Association, Washington County Search and Rescue, and Blue Ribbon Coalition. Winter 4x4 Jamboree is a non-profit, noncompetitive guided trail run event. We run over 30 trails in the Saint George, Utah area. Most of those trails are within the Sand Mountain recreation area, just 5 miles from the Washington County Fairgrounds, where the vendor shows, staging, and free camping are located.
For the 2019 Event, we will be adding more value to our sponsors. Our vendor show will again be in the brand new building on the Jamboree site affording a large amount of indoor booth space. New for 2019, we will have a competitive RC rock crawl and a kid's RC play course set up at the fairgrounds. On Friday, we will have a “Vendor Fiesta”, where each attendee (18 years and older) will have a card that will have all our vendor’s logos on it. Once they have visited every booth and received a sticker, they can enter the card in a drawing for valuable prizes. For our 2019 event, sponsor packages will include a defined number of complimentary registrations based on the level of sponsorship. Our Platinum level sponsors will have 3 Trail Sponsorships included in their package.
